Pumpkin Biscotti for Dogs

Sparta loves her treats

1/2 small can of pumpkin puree (do not use pumpkin pie mix) .  . . if you find large cans of pumpkin it will make 4 batches of biscotti  I freeze the pumpkin I'm not using in the portions I will need.  This recipe will double easily.

1 cup oat flour
1 cup regular dry oat meal
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
3 or 4 tablespoons chicken broth

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Prepare a medium sized glass baking pan with cooking spray and sprinkle with a little oat flour to prevent sticking of the bread.  In a bowl stir together all the ingredients until well blended and pour into prepared baking pan.  Bake the bread for about 35 minutes.  Flip the bread out of the pan and allow to cool for an hour or so.  With a sharp knife cut the bread in half length-wise and then slice the halves into biscotti sized wedges . . . .you'll get 12 to 14 slices per half . . . place these wedges on a baking sheet and bake in 290 degree oven on each side for about 30 minutes or until they are hard and kind of toasted on the outside.
